Opportunity for a USA nonprofit organization to compete for a marketing makeover. The program is intended to give one underfunded nonprofit a new brand identity, as well as an innovative strategy, message, website, and marketing materials. The goal of the program is to empower nonprofits to raise awareness and attract new funding that would otherwise be out of reach.
Through Give a Brand! ® , Thinkso awards a free rebrand—valued at more than $50,000—to one small, underfunded U.S. nonprofit or charity. The award will be in the form of in-kind services written, designed, and produced by Thinkso. The recipient will receive a comprehensive rebrand—including a new brand identity, website, and suite of printed and digital marketing materials. The program’s other sponsors provide free web programming, printing, paper, photography, and more, turning Thinkso’s creative work into ready-to-use materials for the selected nonprofit.
Thinkso, a socially-minded creative agency in New York City, started Give a Brand! in 2012 because it recognized a real need: Small-but-mighty nonprofit organizations do life-changing work, often on shoestring budgets. When they raise funds, most of it goes directly into the communities they serve. Thinkso knows these organizations can accomplish even more when they’re armed with strong branding and compelling communications. That’s why, every year, Thinkso helps a nonprofit to raise awareness and new funding by raising its profile.
For everyone involved, Give a Brand! is seriously rewarding, not to mention super fun. The project includes livestreams of the creative process on social media, a day of collaboration on the rebrand at Thinkso’s office with a final "reveal," and a cocktail party to celebrate the newly elevated brand identity.
