Cincinnati Business Courier and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber
Awards to Ohio organizations in eligible locations to recognize outstanding performance in increasing equity, inclusion, and diversity within their organization. Qualifying nominees are those in the nonprofit, public, or private sector that demonstrate equitable policies, practices, advocacy, and partnerships. Nominations will be accepted for organizations in Cincinnati.
Together the Cincinnati Business Courier and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, with its nationally recognized Minority Business Accelerator, celebrate and elevate the important contributors in ensuring a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable Cincinnati business community. For this program, they will honor organizations in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors that showcase successful efforts with measurable business success in making their organization more equitable and inclusive.
Award categories are purposely broad-based so that nominees of any scale can provide vivid stories of people, programs, practices, policy, and partnerships that have increased diversity, promoted equity, and advanced full inclusion.
Potential areas to consider are demonstrating best practices; transforming workplace cultures; developing innovative or equitable human resources policies; advocating for transformational policy change (in government); bridging cultural divides; promoting supplier diversity; leveraging employee resource groups; practicing inclusive capitalism to drive more inclusive & successful workplaces; catalyzing community impact; or advancing gender or racial equity.
