Grants to Cincinnati, Ohio nonprofit organizations for programs that make the law more accessible, promote justice, and help improve the community's understanding of the law. Priority is given for startup funds rather than operating funds. The Foundation believes that Justice and the legal system reach far beyond the courtroom, and touch many lives.

The applicant agrees to use grant funds within 12 months of the date the Board approves the grant.
Any nonprofit organization is welcomed and encouraged to submit a request for funding. Only 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organizations may apply.
The Cincinnati Bar Foundation is requesting proposals for the Spring 2018 grant session. All applications must be received by 5 p.m. February 23, 2018.
The attached application for should be filled out and returned with 15 copies by February 23, 2018 to be considered in our next grant cycle. Grant awards will be made in early April.
Grant awards will be announced following the Cincinnati Bar Foundation Board meeting scheduled for Monday, April 19, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.
