Grants of up to $10,000 to Ohio nonprofit organizations in eligible areas for projects, programs, materials, and equipment that directly benefit local children. Funding is intended primarily to assist and support children whose future development may be negatively impacted by cultural, physical, emotional, financial, and social obstacles. Eligible activities benefit children in the Greater Cincinnati area. Funding is also considered to address the humanitarian needs of local and world communities where the Rotary Club or Club members are actively involved.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Most grants are in the range of $5,000 - $8,000. Requests should not exceed $10,000.

Term of Contract:

The organization must agree to spend the funds on the proposal submitted within one year of receipt.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations for use in the Greater Cincinnati area. The grant request must be made by a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization with an IRS letter of determination.

The organization may only receive funding once every three fiscal years. (The Rotary fiscal year is July 1 – June 30.)

The Foundation does not provide funding for scholarships or to individuals.
